  • I make many parenting decisions that I second-guess. Camp Ogichi is my parenting home run.

    MELISSA | PARENT

  • My daughter attended Ogichi for the first time this summer and it was a transformative experience for her. I love hearing her stories of adventure, teamwork, laughter and new friendships.

    KATE | PARENT

  • Ogichi was the best experience of my life. I felt so free, and I hope I get to go again next year!

    MEGAN | CAMPER

  • I see a girl who went out into the wilderness unsure and untested, and came back stronger.

    CARRILYN | PARENT

  • The people and experiences of Ogichi have laid the most beautiful and empowering foundation for our daughter, and have literally altered the course of her life.

    HALLIE | PARENT

  • On the trip, I found strength I'd never known. I learned to respect and appreciate nature.

    CLARA | CAMPER

  • One thing my daughter will remember forever is how her counselor called her 'fearless.' She carries that with her each day and truly believes she is!

    JEN | PARENT

  • Attending Ogichi is always my daughter's favorite activity of her summer. She will definitely be back next year!

  • Ogichi has been transformative in our daughter’s life. We knew she’d have rich experiences, but had no idea how rich. We consider the Ogichi staff our partners in helping to raise her.

  • Seeing my child come back from her 4-week session was nothing short of magical. My already bright and happy kid was even more engaged, helpful around the house, confident...and so much more!

  • My oldest daughter, who struggles with self confidence, came home and told me that it felt really good to be herself. As a parent, there is nothing you want more for your children!

  • My children talk about and look forward to going back all year. The personal growth that takes place there is one of a kind and is a testament to the leadership and staff.

  • We had friends that spoke very highly of the camp experience for their kids. We had high expectations given all the experiences they had shared and never expected our daughter’s experience to not only meet, but EXCEED expectations. She didn’t know one person at camp and returned home with so many friends, memories and the greatest joy we have ever seen in her heart.

  • Overall, Ogichi was a great experience for our daughter. The campus, facilities, and staff are exceptional. In addition, the organization was fantastic.

  • Strong spirited women indeed! My daughter returned as a happy, free-spirited, and independent 12-year-old. She already had a mind of her own, but now she is unstoppable. Thank you so much, Ogichi Daa Kwe!

  • I think of my daughters going out into the world, and being able to talk about their amazing experiences, the friendships they have built with new friends far from home. I think about the challenges they faced and overcame successfully, how much character they continue to build through their camp experiences year after year. It's such a beautiful thing to watch, it makes us so proud.
